Who are we?

The membership comprises major British companies in the oil, banking, insurance, engineering, services, communications, law and other sectors. Sponsors of the Society are: Amec, Abbot Group, BP (the foundation sponsor), International Bank of Azerbaijan and the ITE Group. Some company logos are on the home page including the Abbot Group, Amec, BP, De La Rue, International Bank of Azerbaijan and the ITE Group. • An Executive Committee of 20 officers runs the Society, chaired since 2000 by Lord Fraser of Carmyllie QC. His predecessor and founding Chairman was The Rt. Hon. Tim Eggar, former Energy Minister. The present members of the Executive Committee are:
